Grew up with his grandparents in Nepal until 14 before moving to the UK. Built UAVs competitively, fought for workshop access during Covid and helped repair a broken fuselage under a roughly 90-minute competition deadline; Team Peryton won the IMechE UAS Challenge two years running. He has just completed an aircraft-design PhD involving Rolls-Royce and is moving directly into building rather than taking an industry role or postdoc.
