Common Issues & FAQs

  1. How do I create an account?
    Open the Forma app and sign up with your name, email, and phone number. We'll send a one-time passcode to verify your account — enter it to finish setting up.

  2. I didn't receive my verification code.
    Check your inbox and spam folder, and make sure your phone has signal. If it still doesn't arrive after a minute, request a new code. If problems persist, contact us at support@forma.city.

  3. Why does Forma ask for my location?
    We use your location to surface relevant events and recommendations near you. Location is only accessed with your permission and can be turned off at any time in your device settings — the app will still work, but recommendations will be less tailored.

  4. How do I add a profile photo?
    You can take a new photo with your camera or pick one from your library. We only access the specific image you select; we don't scan the rest of your photos.

  5. Can I use voice input?
    Yes. When you use voice input, we record audio only for the duration of your request and convert it to text using our speech-to-text provider. We never record audio in the background.

  6. How do I add an event to my calendar?
    Tap to add an event and Forma will create it in your device calendar. We only write that single entry — we don't read or store the rest of your calendar.

  7. How do I delete my account?
    Open Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account (you'll confirm by entering your account email). You can also visit https://www.forma.city/delete-account or email us at support@forma.city. We'll delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations.

  8. The app isn't working properly.
    Make sure you're on the latest version and have a stable internet connection, then try restarting the app. If the issue continues, email us with a short description and a screenshot of any error messages.

  9. How is my data handled?
    We only collect what's needed to run the app and personalize your event recommendations. You can review the full details in our Privacy Policy.

  10. Is Forma available on Android?
    Forma is currently only available on iOS.
